Plasson Hydrant Connection Systems for PE pipe Plasson has a range of full faced flange hydrant saddles, bends and tees for connection to DN80 and DN100 Hydrant offtakes.  Available in kit and assembled form the fittings carry a WSAA appraisal (WSAA 98/50).  The fittings are a fast, reliable and cost effective way to make your hydrant connections to PE pipe in both renewal and new installation applications. Plasson Wastewater Systems for PE pipe Plasson has developed a specialised range of electrofusion fittings for use with polyethylene gravity wastewater systems. The range includes: Slope and adjustable offtake angle saddles LightfitTM adjustable couplers for non standard changes in direction and joining misaligned pipe LightfitTM couplers for use on thin PE pipe (SDRs >17) Manhole adaptors to allow electrofusion joints into a precast concrete chamber Specialist installation tools to ensure there are no ridges or gaps on saddle connections that could cause hang ups For more information on Plasson's complete range of wastewater fittings click here.
Plasson Adjustable Elbows The Plasson Adjustable elbow is for when pipe ends do not quite meet up or you need a bend outside the standard angles of 22.5, 45 and 90.   The two ball and socket style joints allow a deflection of up to 20mm or a custom angle up to 24 degrees.  Once the desired angle is achieved the pipe is inserted and welded using standard electrofusion welding procedures.  Once welded the fitting can no longer be adjusted.  The fittings are available as: Double couplings (total angle 24 degrees or 12 degrees per side) Coupling and spigot (total angle 11 degrees) The fittings are rated to PN16 (1600kPa) and licensed to AS4129.
